was watching Dateline previous week having a report about “Corporate Weblogs." The section talked about GE, Walmart along with a slew of other companies who had entered the “corporate blogging” arena. The report said that the sponsoring corporations had suggested and sanctioned content to the blog writers and that “what might seem like a little piece of independent blogging was actually written by the publicity department at a big corporation." I could go on-and-on with my personal philosophies about “corporate blogs” and how their content becomes nothing more than the information found in the “company info” section of the website - but I will refrain.
