Prosecutors accused V.K. and N.M. of trying to bribe Emirati lieutenants so that they would refrain from doing their jobs, release them and not have them deported. Records said the suspects were arrested for alleged prostitution and police caught them red handed and they were about to be deported. "If they been arrested red-handed in prostitution, why weren't they deported immediately? Or why weren't they charged with prostitution and referred to court?" Al Shamsi asked.
"Police lieutenants also failed to refer her to prosecution within 48 hours and that's a clear violation of the law. She was detained for nearly ten days prior to her referral to prosecutors."
"N.M. was detained while walking on Shaikh Zayed Road contrary to what the lieutenants claimed. She had her passport in her possession,
franklin et marshall, so why wasn't the administrative deportation enforced on her? She was blackmailed and coerced during her detention."
Violation of the law
Advocates Ali Abdullah Al Shamsi and Saeed Al Gailani,
mercurial vapor, who defended V.K. and N.M., respectively,
maillot de football, argued before Presiding Judge Al Saeed Mohammad Barghout that their clients had been charged unlawfully and without any grounds.

The judgment is subject to appeal within 15 days.

The Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday acquitted the two women,

Meanwhile, N.M.'s lawyer Al Gailani said: "Law enforcement officers committed a serious breach of the criminal procedures law. The permission to record the conversation [concerning the alleged bribery incident] should have been obtained from the Attorney-General… [instead] the police lieutenants obtained the permission from a prosecutor. Law enforcement officers did so because they wanted to cover up the identity of the illegitimate translator who handled the translation. All procedures were carried out unlawfully against the women."
