The 6th Zurich Film Festival starts from today and will last for 11 days. Last year the film festival attracted more than 37,000 film enthusiasts. Hopefully, the year it will also come out as a big success. And Maurice Lacroix once again become the only sponsor of the festival from watch-making festival. What is more, the brand's world-wide ambassador, renown artist Bob Geldof will present the Audience Award at the closing evening to the prizewinning director chose by audience. According to Maurice Lacroix, it has specially designed a limited edition watch for this file festival. Each member of the judge panel and each prizewinning director will receive one of the 36 pieces of this special watch as a gift.
The Maurice Lacroix Zurich Film Festival Limited Edition watch is based on the brand's famous Pontos Chronograph. It is powered by an automatic movement that has been nicely decorated by hands. This movement provides the dial, the chronographs and the date. The date window is included in the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock position, and the "Zurich Film Festival" wording is highlight at the 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock position. Basically, the black dial is eye-pleasing and very easy to read due to the neat and reasonable restrained lay-out. The case, completed by a black leather strap, come with a brushed bezel and a watch crown with protective shoulders.
The watch, however, is not exclusive available for the Zurich Film Festival Limited Edition watch. Ten pieces of this watch are sold at Kurz Schmuck und Uhren in Zurich to watch lovers who love it. And it bears a price tag at 3200 CHF.
