A thunderstorm Sunday night established flooding for several residents throughout Salt Lake County.
The flooding happened according 3300 South while Mill Creek overflowed Sunday night,

In South Salt Lake, at fewest three families were damaged from flooding. Four dwellers in Murray likewise had overflow break to their homes.

Salt Lake County Public Works Department says tempest drains were no clogged.
"It was not from the storm drain. Our storm drains were functioning. They are functioning today," said Ed Rufener with the Salt Lake County Public Works Department. "The water that was here was coming at such capacity that there was no direction our storm drains could deal what was coming down the avenues."
Officials were competent to pump most of the water out of the homes and not families were displaced.
