Floral oil paintings and pet portraits by Maureen Casey and images of Italy by photographer Ed McHugh make for a lovely summer exhibit at The Valley Hospital ############## throughout the month of July. Casey's floral oil paintings include: "Snap Dragon," "White Hydrangea,Aertsen Pieter Paintings," "Pink Rose," "Mountain Laurel in Glass," <a href="http://www.autoparts-oem.com/crown-wheel-pinion-gear-c-2.html"><strong><img src="http://www.autoparts-oem.com/images/gear/MFRA310775MITSUBISHIcrown-wheel-pinion-gear-set.jpg" />MFRA310775MITSUBISHI crown pinion suppliers</strong></a> "Fresh Cut Peonies," "Forsythia," "Sunflowers and Golden Delicious," "Daises in Crystal" and "Daises in Blue." Still Life oils include: "Culinary Delights," "Garlic," "Lemons," "Onions and Brass," "Pitcher with Oranges" and "Pitcher with Plums." A Waldwick resident, Casey is a member of The Ridgewood Art Institute where she studies with John Osborne, a master of landscape painting, who teaches light and atmospheric effects. She has also studied with teachers Renate Wehmeyer, Lorraine Minneto, Diana Gibson and Bill Brown. "My teachers have taught me to see the true colors of nature," said Casey. She raised money through her custom pet portraits to benefit R.B.A.R.I. and S.T.A.R.T. as well as a few other pet shelters and foster organizations and donates a portion of her custom pet portrait sales to benefit homeless animals. Ed McHugh's exhibit includes a variety of photos taken on recent trips to Italy. He says his images are personally created <a href="http://www.autoparts-oem.com/a391701f-rockwell-crown-wheel-pinion-gear-set-p-162.html"><strong>A39170-1F ROCKWELL crown wheel pinion gear set</strong></a> in his digital darkroom. allowing for complete control of the finished product. The final images are printed using archival inks on fine art paper or canvas media, and personally framed. He captures the beauty of Rome with "Trevi Fountain," "Coliseum," "Scooter Girl, Rome," and "Roman Columns." Travels down the coast showcase "Amalfi Coast Flowers," "Blue Grotto," and "Amalfi Sunset." "Calabria Entrance Way" is a large canvas. "Mt. Etna" and "Taormina Flower Pots" in Sicily are also featured. Water scenes are in abundance: "Soverato Beach Boats," "Cefalu Boats," "Sepia Gondola," "Buarno Canal," "Buarno Fish Nets" and "Sepia Grand Canal." Of special interest to him is travel photography, nautical scenes, including digital images of the Jersey Shore and views of Manhattan. In addition to exhibiting and selling fine art images, McHugh is also a portrait and event photographer with NJ/NYC Photo Party. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, McHugh currently lives in Kinnelon. He fell in love with photography when he joined his college newspaper in 1971. His work has been displayed at Chilton Memorial Hospital ############## in Pompton Plains from March to October of last year, and will be there again in November and December of this year. McHugh has exhibited twice at Caffe Buono ############## in Pequonnock. He is represented at the Art Chateau ############## in Chester and frequently exhibits in New Hope, Pa. This is his first exhibit at The Valley Hospital ##############. His work has been published in "Best of Photography Annual." McHugh received the Annual Award of Excellence from "Photographers Forum Magazine."
