I was a workaholic administrative business professional when one day I learned I was going to be a Mom. Oddly I kept my usual focus on work, as I was the over achiever and in turn began to research and learn the most optimal choices insuring the healthiest and smartest child. I was consumed with doing this at 110%
high heels air jordan women boots!
Back to my story, I had a plan, I ate what was required to have the best and brightest of babies. I worked out and kept my mind and body in tip top shape. All the while I worked as if nothing had changed. The research was clear that breastfeeding was the optimal choice for my baby. It would insure the best health and brain development. The more my analytical brain took in the more I became aware I would not expose my child to a chemically based formula. It was not an option for me.
If is very funny how much one changes through out the process of pregnancy. I didn't realize the true volume of this until the day I was stopped at a light, just minutes from my office, while I was 7 months pregnant. Suddenly and most unexpectedly, I was in the midst of 4 car pile up. I man in a large truck had made a terrible move sliding through the light on the pavement that was wet from rain. All I could see was a blur of cars slammed into each other, me in the middle and the intense pain.
Long story short, I delivered a premature baby. This was not in the plan! How was I going to arrange things at work, truth be told work was no longer a priority. It no longer mattered that I was the one who brought home the biggest salary, nor did it matter who would fill my shoes at work.
All that mattered was I had fallen in love with this sweet and tiny little girl who was more fragile and tiny than my mind could comprehend. There was never a moment when I could conceive handing my baby over to another care giver. NOPE, I became a stay at home Mom. Left with a closet full of suits I would never wear again. I was a breastfeeding Mom with a need to make money, stay at home and keep it all together.
To date I set here typing away, having taken several breaks to take the call confirming my kids dentist appoint, and then calling to schedule their well check up visit with their pediatrician. I am now one more of those breastfeeding, thinking of only what is best for my kid's kind of Mom.
Money did become an issue. You just can't provide kids with everything they need without enough money. Money gives us options and a lifestyle I wanted my kids to enjoy and have fond memories of. So, I had to find away for this breastfeeding Mom to work from home. I did and although this may sound really strange, I think of that car accident that brought my little angel into this world far too early as a blessing. If it had not happened I would not be here today.
NOTE: this little premature angel I speak of is now going into the eighth grade, taking advanced high school courses and ranks in the top 5 percentile of the nation. I don't have to tell you Mom's what that means! She is truly a product of good choices to spite the hard start she faced.

If a pair of $500 Jimmy Choo sandals caught your eye, and, despite the fact that you have other sandals in a similar color and heel height and are $8,000 in debt, you bought them anyway, you'd have to stare truth in the face and rate your purchase a 0, totally unnecessary. The occasional computer gamer who shells out $300 for surround-sound computer speakers when a carefully chosen $75 set would be entirely adequate has a subtler decision. If his old speakers were working, probably the Necessity Score is 0; if the old ones failed, maybe a 1/3 is justified. As you're assigning Necessity Scores, keep in mind that you can't meet psychological needs through overshopping. However bad a day you've had, however angry or lonely you may be, buying something won't really address your authentic needs.
If you're angry, you need to know it, feel it, and handle it constructively; the same is true for loneliness. Whether it's a Baby Ruth or a little black dress
nike jordan high heels, a cutting-edge video camera or an amber necklace, if you buy it to repair your mood, it probably gets a Necessity Score closer to 0 than 1.As soon as you log each purchase, assign it a Necessity Score. Do this right away, even though, upon later reflection, you may decide to change the score.Calculate a Necessity Cost (NC) for each item. This is its Actual Cost multiplied by the Necessity Score you've assigned it; NC = AC x NS.At the end of each day, add up the Necessity Cost of your day's purchases and enter the total in the double-boxed NC cell at the bottom of the form.
