Details About This Contemporary Equine Painting Title: ’3 Horse Race No.4′Â* Mixed media on canvas, measures 18″ x 24″ Inspiration Behind The Artwork My focus was the medium and the <a href="http://www.lebronjamesnews.com/"><strong>lebron james news</strong></a> method of applying it to the canvas. One thing interesting about making videos is that ability to explore my methods as an observer, just like anyone else that may be watching it. I picked up on a subtle idea that may be worth exploring. It goes like this, apply some random blocks of paint, let it dry, and add some intense crayon or oil pastel strokes over it. From there I can use a second layer of acrylic over the first layer of acrylic and crayon <a href="http://www.cheapairjordansonline.com/air-jordan-retro-1-white-p-124.html"><strong>Air Jordan Retro 1 White</strong></a> that would outline, or shape my subject. This is clearly seen in this painting on the left hand side of the horse and jockey on the <a href="http://www.nikesoccer-shoes.com/nike-total90-laser-iii-hg-blue-cleats-p-129.html"><strong>Nike Total90 Laser III HG Blue Cleats</strong></a> left. I really like how the random strokes become a part of the subject once the last layer is applied. It adds a nice abstract quality which I strive for in my artwork.
