1.Make sure that you are using the proper sized attachment in the hotfix tool for the rhinestone size you wish to affix.
2.Power on the hotfix tool and lean it on the provided stand.
3.Be careful while handling the hotfix tool and avoid any contact with the metal as it heats up.
4.Place the clothing with face up on a hard surface that can withstand heat.
5.Place the hotfix tool on the rhinestone such that the crystal easily fits to the tool.
6.Now carefully place the crystal onto the fabric where you wish to fix it.
7.Press the crystal on the fabric for a few seconds so that the glue melts and the crystals sticks to the fabric
You may not get perfect results in the beginning but with some practice you will soon become an expert. The second method for fixing crystals on fabrics is the iron on hotfix crystals method. Iron of hotfix crystals method involves following steps:
1.Place the fabric on a hard surface that can withstand the temperature. The fabric should be facing up.
2.Place the hotfix crystal with its face up on the fabric. Carefully place it on the area where you wish to apply it.
3.Heat your iron with temperature set to lowest setting provided.
4.Once the iron is heated, press the iron on the crystal and hold it for a few seconds. The glue would melt and the crystal will be fixed on the fabric.
5.Let it dry for sometime. When it cools just check if it is properly attached or not by moving your hand gently on it.
It may not be very easy and effective in the beginning but with some practice you will get perfect in it and will be able to design images and prints yourself. Small crystals are noticed to be better for such purposes as they do not easily get detached from the fabric. Try to buy the crystals in bulk so that you do not loose money for experimenting on the crystals.
