GEMINI-E3 web is a web application which simulates world climate policies and allows the user to evaluate their impacts at the world level on the climate (emissions and concentrations) and on the economy (GDP, household's surpluses impacts…) thanks to the GEMINI-E3 model. At each user request,
New Tiffany, GEMINI-E3 web extracts the policy information from a large database containing several hundreds of simulations of GEMINI-E3, then,
Language Log Google Books A Metadata Train Wreck, it compares them with a reference case (also called Business-As-Usual) where no climate policy occurs.

About GEMINI-E3
GEMINI-E3 is a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model started in 1994 at the French Energy Atomic Agency under the supervision of Alain Bernard,
Tiffany Blue, part-time Economic Adviser and member of Conseil Général des Ponts et Chaussées. The model is presently developed and managed in collaboration between French Ministry of Equipment and the REME laboratory at the EPFL (Lausanne,
Tiffany Perth, Switzerland).
GEMINI-E3 has been specifically designed to assess world climate change policies, in particular the effects of the Kyoto Protocol,
Tiffany Engagement, both at the microeconomic and the macroeconomic levels. It is a multi-country, multi-sector, dynamic model incorporating a highly detailed representation of indirect taxation. It has been thoroughly used since 1995 to analyze a wide range of questions linked to energy, environment and economic growth. GEMINI-E3 runs in annual steps from the base year 2001 to 2050. The present version of the model is the fifth one, much more detailed that the initial version,
Tiffany Australia, and capable of assessing European policies such as the recent directive on quotas.
If you want more informations on the model and its results or on GEMINI-E3 web, please visit the model website GEMINI-E3 or contact the GEMINI-E3 team ( Alain Bernard, Marc Vielle, Laurent Drouet).
