Artist Roland Roy will enhance the idyllic setting of Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks with his lush floral and landscape paintings through <a href="www.christianlouboutinoutletcheap.com"><stro ng>christian louboutin online</strong></a> Aug. 15.The Newbury Park artist works in various mediums, from pencil drawings to bronze sculptures. His impressionistic painting style blends realism with the abstract. In the oil painting shown here, "Rose Garden," he has painted across the bottom of the canvas a poetic note, "A rose on untested ground and timid terrain remains a rose."Roy was born and raised in Honolulu. As a young man, he served as a police officer and witnessed the seedier side of paradise.
