How to Repair Your Lace Wigs

Lace Wigs can become worn. Sometimes the hair and lace around the perimeter balds and a lace wig repair is in order.
Maybe your lace wigs have been torn, ripped, or has some holes in it, or you just want a new look with added highlights.
Either way, don't throw away that old wig - make your lace wig look like new again.


Repair Your Lace Wigs 1 Treat your lace wig gently in the repair process.

Repair Your Lace Wigs 2 Glue Removal Lace Wig Repairs will fix excessive build up of lace wig glue adhesive.
Repair Your Lace Wigs 3 Turn your lace wig inside out. So that the full lace cap is visible.

the glue is located), and glide it along a hard smooth surface (mirror is preferable).
The glue will stick to the mirror, and glide right off the lace.
Most of the glue will easily come off using this procedure.

Repair Your Lace Wigs 5 For any remaining glue - apply a lace wig adhesive solvent directly on top of the glue.
Repair Your Lace Wigs 6 Let the solvent sit on the glue for approximately 1/2 hour (more if needed).
