Getting prepared to cover the PAX East video-gaming convention held previous weekend,

What to do? To tell the truth, netbooks haven’t been all that appealing to me. The 10-inch screens are too small for my aging eyes, and reports from friends complained about how slow they are, particularly the less-expensive models running
Windows 7. The standard processors in most netbooks just don’t have the heft to run Windows at standard laptop speed, never mind any graphic-intensive programs.
