Speaking with IndustryGamers,
football mercurial vapor, analyst Ben Schachter has said that Modern Warfare 2 could well have sold in excess of seven million copies in its first week, worldwide.
Putting his figures together, the analyst also notes that the game sold over 1.23 million copies on its first day in the UK - doubling the previous launch sales record set by Grand Theft Auto IV.
