Explaining Oversampling in Bonds Poll, Media Still Pushing the Race Issue
A few days ago, I pointed out that a poll unlocked over the weekend regarding fan's views of Barry Bonds had some dubious methodologies. Within the post, I explained how the media was attempting to characterize Bonds' home scamper pursue as a divisive issue among blacks and whites.
I was especially incensed that the write up and data for the poll went out of its way to point out the differing figures aboard each issue between white and black fans. I surprised why the viewpoints of eastern fans and Hispanic fans were not included in the study -- and I still do. I also questioned the framing of certain questions to those who were polled -- for instance, why in the write up and in media broadcasts it said "73% of fans think Bonds accustomed steroids,
