Lance Berkman doubles and hits the controversial home run that gave New York the lead. Those two trades are looking very good in this series.
Andy Pettitte showed he’s recovered from his injury,Texas Rangers Hats Sale, pitching an efficient seven innings for the win. So far, everything is going the Yankees way. The Twins can’t seem to solve them in the post season.
The Yankees defeat the Twins 5-2 and head back to New York with a 2-0 lead. The Yankees hit much better at home, which accounts for their 52-29 record there this season. The two wins also gives Joe Girardi the option of not starting CC Sabathia if the series goes four games. New York is in the driver’s seat.
