How to Make Your Adjustment of the Satellite Antenna and Dreambox More Convenient?
Many fans of the satellite television use laptops to adjust the satellite antenna and his or her Dreambox. It is true that this is much more convenient for you to adjust the antenna and Dreambox than bringing a big TV set up to the top of the building. However, the laptop itself is still big, too, and most laptops have a deadly disadvantage for this task: its battery is too small to let it work long enough to accomplish the adjustment of the two equipments. The laptop is expensive and fragile; this also makes it unsuitable for the adjustment task. Then, someone came up with an idea: using the PSP to adjust the antenna and Dreambox. Now,

PSP is short for Play Station Portable, which is a machine used to run small video games. It has a battery which can hold it for more than 4 hours and a very excellent operating system. Most important is that it can connect the internet using its WIFI antenna. However, you can’t use the same software designed for PC on it since its flash system is not as good as PC. Don’t be disheartened, there’s software called TightVNC which has the same function as Remote Desktop in Windows. This software can help you. Just follow the steps:

1. First you have to download the TightVNC software on your laptop and install it. Then find the TightVNC option in the Start Menu; click on Launch TightVNC Server and switch on the system. Then type in the password which is used to connect PSP and your computer in the PASSWORD blank. Finally, click on OK and the PC side is done. In this process, you have to make sure that your computer’s firewall doesn’t stop the VNC server or your PSP can not connect with your computer.
2. Copy the TightVNC terminal edition to the PSP/GAME catalogue and install it, just like the process of installation of video games. Turn on the PSP and set up the internet parameter in order to make your PSP able to surf the internet.
3. Set up a new user group and type in your IP address. The name of the user group can be anything, but the interface should be remained 5900. Click on OK.
4. Choose the user group you have just set up using the O or X button and type in the password which you have set on your computer. OK, you can see the desktop of your computer now!
5. Finally, you have to adjust the width and height of the software which is used to adjust the antenna and Dreambox in order to make it suitable for the PSP screen.
