The Toledos Heart Crystal Renn – Fashionista Fas

And so do I. After taking off from the quite fabulous screening of The Day Before (more on that to come!),converse shoes,Babies Everywhere Rejoice, Petit-a-Porter’s Launching in September – Fashionis, I headed over to the party for Ford model Crystal Renn’s new book,Classic Ugg, Hungry, at the Soho Grand.
I first met Crystal years ago on a shoot when I was the Beauty Director at YM. From minute one I was a huge fan. I couldn’t be more excited or proud of the success she’s having getting her message out about her battles with weight, eating disorders, and her desire to be successful as a model.
And as a curvy girl in this industry myself, well, I just connect with her. I also hear she might be doing some backstage TV commentary which I am totally on board with since she’ll actually know about fashion…which is more than I can say for so much of the “talent” that gets in our way every season.
So it was nice to chat with the lady tonight about Good Morning America,43,versace sunglasses, upcoming parties, fall lipstick shades, and her ridiculously gorgeous dress. Seriously, I got all Rachel Zoe and DIED over it. As she’s telling me about how it’s Isabel Toledo,40 Years of Kenzo A Colorful Retrospective – Fashionista Fashion Industry News, Designers, Runway Shows, Style Advice, etc,Special Edition Sunglasses, etc…Isabel and Ruben walk into the lounge. Okay, die again. Because really there’s not a cuter (or more talented) couple in fashion. I just love seeing people I admire, like Isabel and Crystal,Armani Sunglasses, getting such deserved recognition.
Basically, Fashion Week is off to a pretty damn good start. Mercury Retrograde be damned!
