Roy namely a brillant production of Patna University. He studied in the
Deptt. Of Ancient Indian History and Archaeology. He received his
second MA degree in Modern History from Patna University. He also
received Diploma-in-Education from the same university. He worked
as an archaeological administrator in excavation works by Vaishali in
1961 below the auspices of the KP Jayaswal Research Institute,GHD Purple Butterfly 2011,
Patna. In 1962, he was research savant by Patna University. Since
1963 he has been working in the Department of Ancient Indian &
Asian Studies, Magadh University,GHD Blue Straighteners, Bodhgaya. His treatise, 'The
coinage of the Kalachuris of Tripuri 'was published in' the
Numismatic Chronicle ', London (The British Museum), in 1973.
Besides this, he has promulgated several articles in standard
journals in India such as the Journal of the Numismatic narrative '
(The Bihar Research Society,GHD Green Butterfly 2011, Patna),GHD IV Mini Straighteners, the 'Bihar Itihas Parishad'and
the 'Heritage of India'. He has been making significient
contributions to Hindi verse through his many publications
