Bonne shopping!
So maybe we’ll see you there this weekend. The sale ends Sunday,
Inside the Designer’s Studio Elise Øverland – Fashionista Fashion Industry N, and we suggest going as soon as you can to scoop up what’s left—though stock is repeatedly replenished. There are some really great things if you don’t mind combing through the messy racks.
All you need to know, right here.

Shopping When I Found a $400 Alaïa at the Barneys Warehouse Sale By Kate Kaunitz Wednesday, Feb 24,
Mulberry Holdalls, 2010 / 4:00 PM GMT -5
But what I ended up finding goes down as one of the greatest shopping moments of my life.
An hour later—the three of us made out like bandits. Lauren bought a gray Christopher Kane sweater dress and a burgundy Boy by Band of Outsiders leather jacket. Frommer bought a charcoal Lanvin suit,
Mulberry Bayswater, and I bought the Alaïa skirt and an ivory Rodarte skirt.
When I asked Lauren what she thought, she gasped,
Mulberry Clutch Bags, “It’s magical. You have to get it.” She made up my mind for me.
So Saturday morning we tiredly traipsed to Chelsea and entered the long cement hallway. Lauren’s boyfriend Frommer came, too; we said goodbye to him as he walked downstairs to the men’s floor,
Mulberry Bayswater, and we tackled the racks on the main floor.
When New York Fashion Week ended, Britt jetted to London and Lauren and I wanted to collapse in our beds. But before we could allow ourselves to fully catch up on sleep, we had to go to the Barneys Warehouse sale.
Well not me! I love and will always love Alaïa. So I pulled out a poofy knit,
Mulberry Men's Messager Bags, pale rose-colored skirt and hurried off to try it on.
Lauren was on a mission: she needed to find a dress for a handful of weddings she’s going to this summer. She also had plans to ransack the The Row’s rack. I really didn’t need anything. I was just there for consultation.
Britt’s coming home tonight, and I promised I would go back with her. (The Christopher Kane dresses are calling her name.)
As I made my way through the alphabetized racks, I found myself in a quiet corner in the “A” section. I scanned through the Alabama Chanin, and then, there it was! A sight for sore eyes! A rack full of Azzedine Alaïa designs, neglected in the corner; no one showing the mastermind couturier any love.
