Critique Summary
As far as layout and ergonomics go,
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e has the best keyboard and trackpad I’ve used on an 11.six incher,
Office 2007 Key, and on top of that it’s matte all over including the screen. Not to mention being really tranquil. Doesn’t get any better than that. Performance, on the other hand,
Microsoft Office 2007 Key, while good running at full efficiency,
Microsoft Office 2007 Professional, dips to netbook level speeds when running on battery mode. Battery existence ranges from 3 - 4 hours on most occasions.
The X100e is clearly a large netbook (cheap) aimed at business users who aren’t particular fussy about long battery daily life or fast functionality.
Note that this critique is done with the single core AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor (1.6GHz). There is a dual core Athlon Neo X2 L335 and Turion Neo XS2 L625 processors.
Where Can I buy it?
Amazon has the Athlon Neo MV-40 X100e in Black for $489.99
