Building on the Flywire technology,chaussure foot mercurial, The Nike Tiempo is back and this time it’s being re-invented as the Nike Tiempo 94 which is a throwback style from one of the most popular soccer cleats worn in the 1994 World Cup. This Nike firm ground cleat is a limited edition shoe and with the look and feel of this shoe we feel it will be one of the top selling soccer shoes this year. If you wore the Tiempo when it was first introduced then you will fall in love with this newer model that has a modern make and feel to it and the retro folding tongue style will make for better strikes on the ball as you help your team to victory.
Style
The look with the new Tiempo still has the classic look, although it’s slightly updated that’s more modern on the outsole and added color so we feel that anyone that wore the Tiempo 15 years ago will do so again with this new sleek look. Although this particular cleat has a tame look compared to the newer Nike Mecurials or adidas Predators, we think serious soccer players will love the added ‘94’ on the folded over tongue that shows it’s sort of a modern retro soccer cleat that will also play with older soccer players that want to relive their past. The shoe has the same large NIKE print and swoosh on the back as the old shoe and that’s it for flash, so if you wanted a shiny or flashy soccer boot this isn’t the one for you, but if you want a shoe that delivers all 90 minutes like the Copa Mundial then you need to check this out.
Durability
The one issue some high level soccer players had with the old Tiempo was that the seams would bust out near the mid part of the cleat and that was due to some players wearing a thinner shoe when they should have been wearing a wider cleat like a Copa Mundial or Puma King. The new Tiempo 94 soccer cleat again like most Nike cleats is suited for players with a thinner foot even though it’s said to be a true fit so if you are hedging just a bit we would suggest you stay with a shoe that’s geared towards your foot size. To help with any side blowouts this cleat is constructed better this time around with a glass fiber shank on the outsole of the shoe and the new flex grooves provide forefront flexibility which will deliver a great feel as you wear them.
Performance
The upper part of the Tiempo 94 is the ultra soft Kangaroo leather that so many soccer players love since the leather gets softer each time you wear them which is better for the feet and better for the shoe as it makes for a longer life. The studs use a combination of conical and bladed studs throughout the bottom of the shoe and your feet will appreciate it as it gives as nice balance to the shoe and a more comfortable feel each time you wear them. The new Tiempo 94 boot is slightly heavier then the newer models coming in at 11.4 oz,mercurial vapor v fg, but the softness of the shoe and overall comfort will make you forget about the added weight as you look sharp and feel great wearing them all season long.
