Hundreds of brides-to-be women camped outside the store in the 5300 block of Wisconsin Avenue all night in hopes of getting a
designer evening dress at a bargain price.
The women showed up in teams and many said they have a strategy for getting the perfect dress. Many women grab as many
cheap evening dresses as they can, have the bride try them on in order to find the perfect one, and if that doesn’t happen the women begin trading.
The
cheap cocktail dresses range in price from about $240 to $699. The stores had 1,500
cheap prom dresses to offer during the event.

The annual Running of the Brides took place Friday at Filene’s Basement in Mazza Gallerie in Washington.
