Exam 2 may be challenged after your 4B term. Exam 3 may be challenged after completing one year of relevant work experience. Your path to a CMA Accounting and Financial Management is one of only 10 programs accredited by the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA-Ontario). Waterloo BAFM (Management Accounting Specialization) + MAcc graduates are exempt from the CMA Entrance Examination, and the residential component of the CMA Strategic Leadership Program. Graduates have the possibility to achieve up to 12 of the 24 months of qualifying work experience depending on your co-op jobs. To take advantage of these exemptions, you must complete both your BAFM and MAcc (including specified MAcc courses) at Waterloo. Your path to a CA Waterloo is the only university whose program are professionally accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO).. Waterloo BAFM (Public Accounting Specialization) + MAcc graduates are exempt from the ICAO School of Accountancy (SOA) program,Office Standard 2010 Key, and the Core Knowledge Exam (CKE). Graduates are considered to have met these ICAO requirements: 51 study credit hours, and up to 16 of the 30 months of qualifying work experience depending on your co-op jobs |
